Years ago, Rowenta--maker of the world's best irons!--had a series of pages on their website devoted to "the feng shui of ironing." (Feng shui, of course, is the Chinese art of managing fortune through the use of place and space.) I've always loved to iron, so I was delighted to discover that at least some other folks appreciated the creative/meditative potential of this seemingly mundane activity.
As my ReHomesteading adventure brought to mind all sorts of old-fashioned domestic activities, I went in search of the Rowenta pages. But they are gone, and sadly, the Rowenta site is now nothing but a product catalog.
Nevertheless, I was determined. I finally tracked down a copy of the material preserved on the Internet Archive (aka, the Wayback Machine). And it's just as charming as I remembered.
I snagged the pages as images and put them together in this booklet. Watch below as a presentation, or download your own PDF version: Happy ironing!
